Developments in Twt Park, Cowbridge

Cowbridge with Llanblethian Town Council would like to inform the community of essential work that is planned to take place in Twt Park over the next 4 weeks.

On Monday 21st November 2016 the Town Council is replacing the old Multiplay Unit in the Park with a new unit and is installing a glide. This will mean that the play area surrounding the Multiplay Unit will be fenced off. The new wooden small child play area will still be open as will the footpaths going through the park.

Prior to the work taking place in the Multiplay area, week commencing Monday 14th November 2016 gardeners will be in the park trimming the trees and hedges.

The Town Council would also like to inform the community that from Monday 14th November 2016 signs will be displayed stopping ball games taking place in Twt Park. The reason for this decision is because of the risk of harm to other users in the park particularly young children. Furthermore there is concern by the Town Council of damage being caused to park equipment, the trees and foliage and to neighbouring properties. Persons who wish to play ball games are encouraged to use Poplars Park or the playing fields off Westgate or the Bear Lane Playing Fields.
